Any suggestions? I don't have wide feet (except at the toes), don't pronate excessively, and am tired of soft marshmallow soles that are clearly meant for women half my weight. Most heavy runner shoes seem to be made only for men.

I wear women's Brooks Glycerine, they state that they're made for women >180 lbs. They're very cushioned and a bit heavy when running, but once I got used to them they were great.

You might try Mizuno, I'm on the lighter side and I hate how stiff their soles are.

Ha, that's why the Mizunos are so right for me, despite my light weight status.

Thanks for the replies. I'll see if anyone here sells Mizuno and give that a try. Brooks shoes don't fit me very well. Saucony does fit well, but so far I haven't found one that isn't very soft. Meantime, I guess I'll continue to use the hiking shoes I've been running in.
