I just have this overwhelming urge to share with people who care. I was able to purchase an Acorn Handlebar Bag yesterday!!!! I'm so excited. It only took two months to wait until they were selling the one I wanted.

Since it's only a husband and wife running the show - they ran out within seconds of going on sale. I was watching them all morning in order to be able to get in a purchase. By the time I was done purchasing they had run out.

I've had mine for several years, use it all the time, and it still looks new. They're very well made.

That's beautiful. I just put in to get a notice for their saddlebag.

That's the bag I want for my London to John O'Groats trip in June. I was gutted to have missed out on the last window of opportunity! I didn't know there was a 'notify' facility so thanks for mentioning that - I have now signed up!

Thanks for giving the heads up re notification! I managed to get the bags I wanted in black. I didn't know if I was going to be able to access their site from my job, so I had a friend buy what I wanted for me, but turns out, I was able to get on and buy same, so I now have two of the small handlebar bags and three large saddlebags. My friend is going to take a look to see if he wants them once they arrive. If he doesn't, I will offer them up for sale here, so PM me if interested (first come first serve). One large saddlebag will definitely be for sale (I accidentally spazzed when clicking buttons and ordered two).

Acorns are nice bags. Two other ones to consider - Swift Bags and Philosophy Bags - both small US companies.
Of course being the distributor for Zimbale, I love them, but they are sewn in a tiny factory in South Korea so not for those who want US made bags I totally understand.

My bags arrived today. I seem to have purchased both the small and regular handlebar bag (only remember getting the small), but they're both perfect for the day rides I have planned. The large saddle bag is also the perfect size for my commuting needs. I wasn't sure when I ordered, because even though it looked good online, I can never really tell until I see it in person. Very happy!
