With a cage and some of us swimming alongside with stun guns and jelly fish nets? :) Good luck to her! Go, Diane go!

The most recent thing I've read says she's going without a cage again. Nutty, but inspirational. ;)

That's why we swim along with the shark stun guns and jelly fish nets. :)

Whyyyyyy no cage? Endurance swimmers have mobile cages or nets somehow held fore, aft, left and right by boat or kayak. Would a form of protection negate the record? Nobody has done this before, right? So why not give every chance of success and safety?

It's been done with a cage, never without.

I'm really excited to meet her, we're doing an Olivia resort trip to Cancun in May and she's doing a fitness seminar!

Ah. Swim Cuba to Fla; Been there, done that, got the t'shirt. :rolleyes: Besides the distance and super fitness involved and everything I guess you'd call me a cage free chicken. Sorry TE, could not resist the bad pun. :o

That's exciting that you will get to meet her! Start working out. ;)

I was swimming on Sunday and all I could think was "she is nine years older than me, and my entire workout wouldn't even be a decent warm up for her".
