Didn't want to hijack surgtech's thread, so...
Has anyone run in Terry Spinnaker's (http://www.terrybicycles.com/Apparel/Cycling-Bottoms/Spinnaker_2)?
I'm wondering if a pair of "tri" knickers exists out there - I'm thinking of something to do bike/run bricks or duathlons in when the weather is cooler. All I have are tri shorts, and to put those under running knickers seems unnecessarily bulky.
Any ideas?

DeSoto has some tri knickers. I've never actually used them for an event. But I've ridden in them a few times, run in them and wear them to my trainer sessions.

I've worn the Desoto tri capris for a number of events and for lots of training. I really like them! I've had them for two seasons and they are going on season #3.
They wick like crazy, so my legs were actually quite cold with them on wet for a bike after a swim when it was cold out. They dry fast though. And honestly, the reason I bought them was to cover my ugly legs for race photos and they totally work great for that. ;)

Thanks!
I just snagged the last sale pair in my size (hopefully) from TE, so I hope to try them out this Spring. I honestly don't see me swimming in them but hopefully they'll be good for Du's and my Tri Club's early season run-bike-run workouts!

I think they will. I also found that they were perfect for this functional fitness/ cycling class I was taking. We had on-bike and off-bike alternating intervals and they were great for the bike, but thin enough that I was comfortable doing the TRX stuff off the bike as well.
