I have a pair of Sidi Dragon 2. Even though they are MTB shoes I have managed to scuff or burr the black Lorica on the ends of the toes.

I want to protect the Lroica from further damage and was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what to do. I was wondering about doing the following-

Painting black or clear nail polish
Covering with a piece of black duct tape cut to the correct size
Nothing- anything else might damage the shoe

I don't want to ruin the rest of the shoe. I suspect it has happened to others as the Dragon 3 now has a rubber covering on the toe.

Haven't used it myself, but I know some use Shoe Goo for repair and a protective layer.

I thought about getting some as my son scruffs the toes of his shoes.

I just got "Sugru" as a birthday present. It sticks to almost everything and you can free-form it like Play-Doh. It hardens to a rubber-like consistency after half an hour, and comes in differnt colours. Maybe it works for your shoes?

I have asked on the Sugru forum about adhesion. Wow what a cool product and development story! Will let you know what I find out.
