For various reasons riding is still on the back burner for a few more weeks yet.

Still swim 3 or 4 times a week doing around 1000 metres and have been upping the amount that I can walk, generally I don't do walk but have discovered I am actually enjoying it.

Second time I went off on my weekly jaunt and managed 6 miles, my back ached a little the next day but that soon went.

Wow and double wow, I thought it might be good fun to do something together, so why not have a game of Badminton? Now I have not played this game for over 30 years and then I was not good. It went so well, my partner and I just had a knock about for an hour but it was good being able to have quite a few rallies.

Already booked for next Sunday.

Have posted this hoping it can motivate others to do stuff, especially after injuries or illness, as other posts have motivated me.

:D :D :D :D :D

On my walk last Wednesday, I took over 120 pics, here are some of my favourites of the day, especially the Beach Hut that is going to be used for weddings. Ahem, at a cost starting at £999!

Lovely empty beaches, give it another month or so!

Thanks for sharing those pics! Loved them. Nature and the beach are both so beautiful. Something about nature in general is so soothing and healing.

Good for you on activitiy with other things. It's been years since I played badminton as well. But I liked it when I did and was decent at it. Any other sport I was that kid in gym class who always got hit in the head with the ball. And I always had my bike.

Yay for you!

:)
