I'm working on cleaning out closets and getting rid of stuff.

I have a bunch of those little bags with spare buttons in them, the ones you get with new clothes. Except clothes are all long gone, so I don't need the buttons.

The easiest thing to do is just throw them out. But would it make any sense to donate them to Good Will? I'm thinking maybe people who are into knitting or other crafts might be able to use them.

Thanks.

I'd Goodwill them. I'm not at all crafty, but it always seems like buttons are used for lots of random and kinda cool stuff. School teachers might like them for Art projects, too.

Always donate. Someone will want them!

Goodwill is a good idea. You can also post on Freecycle- I've had good luck giving/getting items that way.

Teachers, for sure. I always appreciated donations of that sort for crafts and sorting, etc.

You can keep the buttons for future use.
