Bike Across Kansas 2012

My dad is doing this and I'm 90% sure I'm going to do it too. Anyone else? They announce the route on Sunday, and that's the earliest you can register. The ride fills up around April (it's in June).

My husband says he wants to do it this year, but he hasn't followed through on starting training. I have no desire to ride it - a west-east ride in what usually turns out to be some of the most God awful neverending south winds of the year - not my thing. But if DH ends up doing it, I might be there (driving!).

I think they're limiting the number of participants this year, so it could fill up even earlier.

I haven't started training either...but I'm doing it anyway. :D I bike all the time everywhere so it's just a matter of getting some long rides in before it starts. I'm assuming it's eventually going to get cold again this winter, and after that, I'll start going for long rides!
