Not yet, but I ordered it today. My LBS is going to build up a white Soma Buena Vista for me. We're hoping to finish by my 50th birthday in June. I've been having arthritis issues lately so my current bikes are painful to ride. We're going to build her up as more of a city bike, with the option to make her more aggressive later. I'm so excited!! I think I'm going to find a new home for the Kona Big Kahuna. Mountain biking is no fun for me any more. The Dew will stay as the winter commuter since she has disc brakes and some battle scars. The Felt will stay in hopes that I'll be back to riding a roadie again someday.

Congrats!! Maybe you can share some pics of the build?

I just had to comment.......I started the thread directly after yours. I'm turning 50 in June and asked for advice on a recumbent vs a custom build for the same reasons as you!!!??? I then clicked on your post and got confused for a moment thinking I was reading my own post, but not exactly! Anyway, congratulations on the new bike!!!
Sincerely,
Michelle

The wheels are built. Velo Orange touring rims ( http://velo-orange.blogspot.com/2011/01/raid-rims.html ). We're waiting for the frame to come in. I'll have a B-67 saddle (currently on my Kona 29er), and the MKS Lambda pedals I love so much. I picked out the Soma Eurotrip fenders in pearl blue ( http://www.somafab.com/archives/product/eurotrip-fenders-road ).
I haven't been around here much lately. My very best friend is in the final stages of metastatic breast cancer. I was in a bad car accident a few months ago. So far 2012 has not been a stellar year. This bike is giving me something cheerful to look forward to.

Sorry to hear about your rough time. Thinking good thoughts for you both. Hopefully the new bike will be just the thing you need. Take Care.

Replaced my Bike Friday with a Surly Cross Check in Robin's Egg Blue (squeeeeee...no, the color had nothing to do with my decision).
She's on her way and my LBS will be doing some upgrades for me:
STI shifters
Shimano 105
3T Ergonova handlebar
Velo Orange Stainless fenders
Tubus titanium rack
She's going to be a dazzling blue and silver and my run around town/shop/errands/meetings/COOL A TRIAL!/travel bike. I've decided it is worth it to pay to ship a bike that is really comfortable and dependable. ;-)
Hopefully she will be here next week and I'll post a pic on the Surly thread.

The frame is in!! It is beautiful! Doesn't look too good with those fenders, though, so we'll have to pick out some different ones. We're stretching out this build to be done around the end of May (my birthday is the beginning of June).

Oh, the bike sounds like it will be perfect. I am sorry about your friend. My good friend is fighting cancer right now and the cancer is winning.:( I am also sorry about your car accident. My 50th is in June too!

I got to take a test ride today. We're still waiting for fenders to come in, and to decide on a rack. What a smooth ride! The wheels are a thing of beauty! :) Makes turning 50 seem not so bad.
