Hi Ladies,

I'm wondering what your thoughts on the Rapha Wind Jacket are? Worth the price? Any other alternatives you recommend?

Thanks:)

Are they doing womens clothing yet?

My male cycle buddy had a Ralpha jacket. He's British so of course he had to have one (he also had a carbon fibre saddle too).

He raved about it. But to be honest I think that Ralpha stuff is sort of like Assos stuff. Yes its really well made and yes people who buy it LOVE it. But for the price..... I think there's other stuff out there that would do the job just as well.

My other two cents is "how would you feel it you fell off your bike and ruined the jacket?". I try and buy stuff that I am OK about replacing price wise. This came to me while I was having my cycling gear cut off me while in hospital.

Yes - they are doing women's clothing. Although I can't comment specifically - loads of our customers buy Rapha & although it's expensive, they absolute love it. It works really well & lasts well too. I think unless you are doing technical mountain-biking (ie; likely to fall off loads) I would go ahead if you can afford it.

We can probably come to some smuggling arrangement if you like!!
