Hubby got a new car last month and I think he felt a little guilty, so he asked me if there was anything I wanted...well... come to think of it... ;)
This one will replace my Trek Hybrid that I got about three years ago, and will be my commuter/errand/light touring/rain bike when I don't want to rice my Dolce. This bike feels great, and it has a triple on the front, which is NICE. I don't have much to say about the saddle though, not comfortable at all.
It was hard to find a 2012 Jamis (Aurora), but Free Range Cycles in Seattle found ONE that wasn't spoken for on the west coast, whoo hoo! I had them change out the shifting system, I didn't like the bar end shifters, too cumbersome to get to. Also had them put on "cheater brakes" for me.
This was my first official ride as a new owner, going down the Burke Gilman Trail on the waterfront on a 32 degree morning. But I got my bike-love to keep me warm. :p
