Just wondering if anyone else is playing on www.freerice.com.

It's a site where you answer questions in various subjects -- vocabulary in English and other languages, math, chemical symbols, identify countries on a map or artists who created famous works of art, stuff like that. For every correct answer, 10 grains of rice are donated to hungry people around the world. The rice is paid for by the sponsors who advertise on the site -- a new ad displays with each correct answer.

You can play on your own or as part of a team. I'm on team Eff-one-grain-at-a-time, which was started by former Formula 1 mechanic and current Speed TV commentator Steve Matchett. He created it for his twitter followers to see how many grains of rice we can donate each December. Last year we earned enough to build a chassis and steering wheel for an F1 car (based on weight). This year we're building the engine. We're currently the #1 team on the site. :)

It's a fun way to help people and all it costs is a little of your free time.
