I was wondering when a little play with the shop's name was going to come up! :D My Spanish is rusty, but I haven't forgotten all of it yet!

I broke a spoke last Summer. Upon inspection it looked like the spoke was defective and I broke on the non drive side. Our LBS buddy was perplexed when it happened, as my bike only had about 2500 miles on it at the time and I'm chunky, but I'm still relatively small. My hubby has broken a few spokes, but he's also 75-100#s heavier than me, depending upon the season.

Thanks, Bike Writer! It has been a fun adventure. I don't know if we'll stay here forever, but for now, it's great. :) I am so not missing winter!
