NOTE: If you plan to attend, please RSVP on this thread. Thanks!

Need an excuse to drink some wine, score some great deals on cycling apparel (maybe buy a few holiday gifts?), socialize with a great group of metro-area female cyclists just like you, and (bonus!) benefit the Bicycle Transportation Alliance in the process?

Then come on out to our first ever TeamEstrogen.com "Scratch-n-Dent" Sale!

What: The 1st ever TE Scratch-n-Dent Sale: We have a large collection of apparel & accessories that is no longer "saleable" on our website. Most of it is 99% serviceable, having very small minor blemishes, perhaps a snag or a small mark. Some items are "prefume-y". Some are worn returns, but many are new with blemishes. But because they aren't perfect first quality, we can't sell them on the website anymore. So, we'll be selling them at HUGE DISCOUNTS at the Scratch-n-Dent sale!

We'll also be selling an array of great holiday gift items like bike-themed ornaments, bike-themed jewelry, snuggly warm Smartwool socks and many other items. Why go to the mall when you can check off a lot of names on your shopping list all in one night?

AND, as a bonus, TEAMESTROGEN.COM WILL DONATE 10% OF THE NIGHT'S PROCEEDS TO THE BTA! Yup, you get a great deal, and the BTA gets some bucks. Not a bad deal, eh?

(Did we mention that you get to drink some wine & have some snacks in the process? Does it get any better than this!?)

When: Tuesday, December 6th. 6:00 to 9:00pm

Where: Here at TeamEstrogen.com HQ in Hillsboro (21350 NW Mauzey Rd. Hillsboro, 97124)

Who: YOU! And a great gathering of Portland-area female cyclists

Why: To clear out our accumulated damaged goods bins, do some holiday shopping AND have a good excuse to drink some wine with our girlfriends! As if we needed an excuse!

How: Come on over! But leave the boys, kids and pets at home :-) One night only, so don't miss out. All sales will be final, but since we'll have dressing rooms available (4!) you can try things on to make sure they're right for you. We'll take cash, check and credit cards. Sorry, no wampum beads accepted, but rumour has it that bribery with pie works on some staff members.

RSVP: An RSVP is appreciated, so that we can be sure to buy enough wine and snacks! Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you on the 6th.

Yet another reason I wish I lived in Oregon.Trust me, this time of year, just living in Oregon isn't enough.

There's some big snow-covered mtns between here and there.

I forget that parts of the country aren't nearly as flat as central Indiana.

But Bend would do just fine, too.

Since when have big snow covered mountains stood in the way of progress???!? Well, ok, maybe for the Donner party.... But that's no excuse for you. They didn't have AWD.

I'd love to go too, but even SK's eight-hour drive would be too much for me!

I'm in! I'm new to road riding this year and had no idea that TE and I are neighbors. I am looking forward to meeting some other women cyclists and checking out the sale!

I'd love to go, but I'm on the exact opposite coast and can't afford the time off or flight. Maybe someday.

oh ohhhh ohhh!!!! I knew there was a reason for moving to Portland. :D :D besides, all the cloudy days I've had recently and all that wind here, I really don't need an excuse to get out.

I'll pass on the wine. Hot (non-alcoholic) cider would be nice. I have to check to see if I can go though :(

I live in Beaverton, so I might go. I don't drink alcohol, so will there be other drinkable stuff?
