Is there someone you thought you would merry when you were young? A movie star or singer you pined for and still hold a special place in your heart for?
Mine is the bass player for Duran Duran and he is STILL hot! I also thought Shaun Cassidy but not so much now. lol

Sting circa 1980-1984, i.e., before the Police broke up. I was obsessed. I've never really liked him as a solo artist. I have traded that crush for Daniel Craig. I must have a thing for Englishmen.
Of course, I have long been fond of a younger Paul Newman. Timeless....

Ha ha! Luke Skywalker;)
I had a thing for Hans Solo and Indiana Jones. I lost count how many times I saw each at the theater.
LOL. Kirk Cameron! I'd forgotten about him.

In my past I've also had a thing for Val Kilmer and Mickey Rourke. Sheesh, I sure know how to pick 'em (http://wonderwall.msn.com/movies/sunken-dreamboats-16440.gallery). :o

OK, showing my age here.
When I was really young, like 8 or 9, I was in love with Richard Chamberlain. You know, Dr. Kildare.
I've never been much into celebrities or movie stars, but I did have quite a crush on Dustin Hoffman, when he first appeared in The Graduate. I had a huge poster of him over my bed when I was a freshman in HS. My first serious boyfriend and my DH look very much like him.

Lee Pace.
I'm not that old and he's not that much older than I am (totally in my "safe" range - young enough to not be my dad, although still older than me). Would totally run away with him in a heartbeat.

OMG; I almost forgot my first crush (for which my siblings teased me mercilessly): Lee Majors a/k/a The Six Million Dollar Man. I had even had the doll. Forgive me; I was six.

Good one! I'm realizing that I had a lot of crushes. It felt normal at the time, but it seems excessive in retrospect. :)

I always liked AquaMan.
Nick Barkley - the character - in the show The Big Valley.

I loved Brad Renfro as Huck Finn. I think I saw that movie about 1000 times as an early teen.

Showing my age... Bobby Sherman! I even had his music album...yes, he also was a "singer"... and I put those quotation marks in on purpose. :p But those eyes... I love that they are showing the old "Here Come the Brides" reruns on cable tv.
David Cassidy, sort of, but he was rather a dweeb, even for those days of bubble-gum rock!

John Schnieder when he was in Dukes of Hazzard. I had posters all over my walls, and once joined a walk-a-thon and walked 20 miles because he was going to be there.
I was in Jr. High. :)

These are so great. Donny Osmond was huge for me when I was like 8. I met him when I was 16. He was very nice.

Um, I think I'm going to win for the weirdest crush ever...I had a crush on Mighty Mouse when I was a child. Yes, the cartoon character. Go figure.
There was also a cartoon show called Battle of the Planets. I had a crush on one of the characters. His name was Mark. Again, a cartoon and a 'super hero'.
I think I had issues as a child!
My first live human crush that I remember was Mitch Gaylord during the 1980's Olympics.

Ooh, that reminds me...I had a supermegahuge crush on Greg Louganis. Really, I still do. I haven't seen much of him in the past 20 years, but every time I have seen him interviewed he still seems like such an approachable, friendly, class act. And he still looks so healthy, which I am so happy to see.

I saw footage of him doing yoga, and the man is a thing of beauty. He defies gravity.

I was never into celebrities and such. I just did not get the fascination. But I had a terrible horrible crush on one of my brother's friend. It's so embarassing now to look back. And I crushed on him for nearly a decade :p
And now he is old and balding and gained a bunch of weight. I'm so glad he didn't return my feelings! DH is way more hot!

I was more apt to fantasize about characters in books than anyone real. But I had the usual geek-girl thing about Mr. Spock.

Childhood? or Now as well?
David Hasselhoff from "Night Rider". John Schnieder from "Dukes of Hazzard" and he looked dang good in "Smallville" too. Michael J. Fox had me smitten as well. I cried my heart out when Christopher Reeves died. He will always be Superman to me.
Now it's Joshua Jackson from "Fringe".

Heh - I had a crush on KITT, not on the human in that show. :o
I think I just never quite got the celebrity awe thing...I still don't. I put incredible athletes higher than movie stars in my mind...so I guess I felt the same as a child. I did have a crush on Michael Jordan for awhile, too.
I did have plenty of crushes on boys in my real life though, that's for sure.

KITT was my favorite car ever along with the Ferrari on "Magnum PI". I have the "Knight Rider" box set and if you press the button the bottom part of the box lights up like the car and you get part of the theme song. Way cool.

The first crush I ever had was for "Superman"
When I went to see the movie, I fell in love with Christopher Reeve. I love a man in tights!!!:p
It's kind of funny because he was also, in the movie called "Somewhere in Time"--a movie that takes place on Mackinac Island (where DH and I were married 2 years ago). They actually have the "Somewhere in Time" gazebo from the movie on the island. DH and I of course used that for the ceremony:D
....Hmmmm, now that I think about it, maybe that is why I picked it for my wedding all along.

For me it was Bobby Sherman, Donny Osmond, and my dad's commanding officer (she was a total bad ***).

Cary Grant. I didn't care how old he was. I loved all of his movies, had trouble tracking them down.
Then, when I was 30, my mom told me she knew him fairly well when she was a child, she went to school with one of his kids (or step kids), and he'd to give her rides home and the like occasionally! I was so angry with her, even though I was 30.
Sexy sexy man, even at the age of 80, and that voice!

Then much later George Harrison.

There was also a cartoon show called Battle of the Planets. I had a crush on one of the characters. His name was Mark.
GLC, cartoon crushes are ok in my book.
I loved this show. I also had a giant crush on Mark, but alternately had one on Jason. Jason was so moody. But then Mark had the mysterious past. How to choose?
My sister and I used to play Battle of the Planets, too. I seem to remember a lot of horse-trading about who got to be which character.
I loved, loved, loved Star Wars, but I think I wanted to be Luke Skywalker more than I had a crush on him. Sometimes there would be crossovers where the Battle of the Planets folks met the Star Wars folks.
I also loved Simon Le Bon from Duran Duran and Starbuck, Dirk Benedict's character from Battlestar Galactica.
Oh, and speaking of cartoons, Rick Hunter from Robotech, anyone? Sigh.

OMG! Starbuck! I seriously swooned over him!! And I think I wanted to be Luke, too. ;)
I totally remember crushing on Jason too...but figured I was only into him because Jason would have been my name if I was a boy, so I always had a fondness for Jason's.
I also had a crush on Murdock from the A-team. Not because he was particularly cute, I just seriously fell in love with is character. What was funny was that I wasn't into Face at all...even though I liked Starbuck. Apparently I had a thing for characters...not for the people/actors behind them.

Ahh yes the angels! What girl didn't strive to get there hair like theirs!
My husband still pines for Linda Carter.
I snuck my underage way in to see Star Wars IV, and came out with stars in my eyes and the biggest crush ever on Luke Skywalker :D I think it was a defining point in puberty when I realized that actually Han Solo is the hunk.
Since then I've developed the ability to have crushes on just about anyone. Just not, curiously enough, the tanned muscular confident ones popular with teenage girls today, like whassisname Lautner in Twilight.

George Harrison, Sajid Khan (not that I ever saw him in anything except a magazine or *cough* twelve), and Mark Spitz.
I thought Mighty Mouse was pretty cool when I was really little, and also Top Cat.
