Wondering if anybody on here might have this LP tucked away in their attic, this album?

All I am after is a decent photograph, I want to make a cool T-shirt for my nine year old grandson.

A few weeks ago, he was lucky enough to meet one of his favourite Blue's players, John Mayall, who is also on this album.

Thanks for looking anyway.

There's a couple of guys at work who are really into old vinyl, I'll check with them on Monday to see if they have it in their collections.

I have a huge, huge stack of LP's I inherited from my grandma and dad. I've been meaning to go through them soon, catalog them and put them in a safe place. I'll probably do that next weekend with the holiday and all. I keep an eye out for it.

I used to. We donated 700+ extremely cool, not run-of-the-mill old vinyl albums to our local community/alternative station years ago.

grandma and dad...

really into old vinyl...

I feel old now. :p :p

then thinking about it, my friends have "kids" in their thirties... and my younger sister's are in their twenties... sigh I'll check with my partner if she has a copy of it when she returns tonight from a quilt show in Puyallup.

Clock - I've found a couple of pix online, I'm not sure they'd work for you though. Look here:

Clock,

It's not my bothers "day job" but he's an incredible pianist. He once toured with Elvin Bishop. I can ask if he's got ideas for a budding blues musician.

Hey Snap, awesome, just what I needed, I had searched the internet but everything was too small, suspect there would have been too much pixelation.

Many thanks to everybody else but if you do find a tatty old copy, bearing in mind it is now over 45 years old, you can always chuck it this way. ;)

My grandson has been going to Jamming Sessions since August and is just loving it, he had never played with this guy and I suspect he thought why am I stuck playing with some little kid but after the solo, he did grin, generally he just plays Blues and this was slightly faster.

Check this out http://youtu.be/RndSdcCog2U and watch at around 1.40.

I still have a bunch of LPs. But I didn't buy the album you're looking for until CDs had taken over.

Digital music has its upside, but I miss the album art. No more Physical Graffitis to play with...

Thanks again for all the comments but must post my update.

Quite by chance did a search on eBay USA last night and bought a reissue LP, brand new and sealed for US $22.99.

Sounds a bit stupid really as my grandson does not own a record player but that does not matter, anyway, he took his Rockschool Guitar - Grade 4 music exam yesterday, so that will make a nice present.

Got to confess, it was the postage cost that killed, US $14.00!!!

You're the coolest grandmother! He will remember this forever. My dbf still tells the story of getting Frank Zappa's "Lumpy Gravy" from his Aunt Ruthie when he was 10. One of his favorite gifts.

Well, if it makes you feel better, I distinctly remember my dad bringing home the record "We are the World" and listening to that over and over again. As well as Neil Diamond's "Coming to America."

Clockwork, a few years ago I bought a frame at Michael's that is meant specifically for record album covers. (I had a "Meet the Beatles" album that i wanted to frame.) Perhaps you could find one for your grandson to hang in his room. I like it because I feel like it is keeping the album safer than it was in the bottom of my closet

Sorry, I just noticed your location is UK, and you probably don't have Michael's stores there! Oh well, maybe you can find something similar.

Kind of hijacking thread . . . it turns out I do not have the one you are looking for. I have quite the collection of holiday records, Barbara Streaisand, Dionne Warwick, Elvis, Simon and Garfunkel, . . .

Here are some of my favorites I found--some b/c of cover art and of course, Neil Diamond. Note the nice road bike on the Creedence Clearwater Revival album.

Hijack away, it's nice hearing about what other records people use to own. :)

That is a brilliant idea, let's face it, I've spent so much, a little more won't hurt.

Yes, I have found several places to buy them online. :D

Well, it was all worth while, so thanks again snapdragen for finding the links to some decent photos. :D

My Grandson passed his Grade 4 Music Exam with Merit, so it was an ideal time to give him the T-shirt as a small gift.

It's fantastic being able to make your own printed T-shirts for such a silly price, anyway, he was extremely pleased with it. :)

I miss records! Loved the cover art, and the lyrics on the back, and something about the sound....
