Yup, those are my three favorites too! I brought the Better Pain Scale one to my OT and hand surgeon last year after I smashed my PIP joints, just for general entertainment.

That pain chart made my day. Thanks so much for sharing. That blog just got bookmarked.
Parp!!!
Gawd, I LOVE Hyperbole and a Half!!!!!
I'm a writer and interior designer - so I follow:
Elements of Style blog - Erin is so talented and funny.
http://www.elementsofstyleblog.com/
Pure Style Home - I love her laid-back, relaxed, natural style. http://purestylehome.blogspot.com/
I also have a blog, and while I personally love it because I love writing and love interiors and archetecture, I don't know if it's ok to link it here? Mods - I'll happily pull it.

I follow a few food blogs: Orangette (http://orangette.blogspot.com), David Lebovitz (http://www.davidlebovitz.com/), Dinner, a Love Story (http://www.dinneralovestory.com/), Smitten Kitchen (http://smittenkitchen.com/), Yummy Supper (http://yummysupper.blogspot.com/), and Chocolate and Zucchini (http://chocolateandzucchini.com/).
Okay, admittedly, I love food, but several of these blogs are as much about travel (and Paris, in particular) as they are about food. Plus, several also feature some really beautiful photography, which I also love.

And then come to Oregon to do ours!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your hidden TV. OMG, if only we could make that work in our home. I hate that our TV is such a huge part of our living room. I keep insisting that the woodstove/fireplace and picture window need to remain the centerpieces...but that big TV is still there...mocking me. Ugh!

Speaking of blogs, GLC: Are you still maintaining yours? I used to link from it from here, but I noticed you don't include the link anymore in your signature. I loved following you and your goats!

+1. I hate our tv. Grey's solution is genius. I just love the entire house. It's so light and airy, and I love the antique pieces she's chosen. I saw some of her husband's tile work on her website; it's also gorgeous. Drool. I have to admit to some insane jealousy of the talent it takes to transform a space like that. I've never really had an eye for decorating or designing my own homes. Part of it is an admitted lack of creativity, but I'm also extremely lazy and cheap when it comes to nesting. I make do with functionality and a bit of paint. I wish my home were a better reflection of me.

Indy - I totally hear you on 'making do'. Our house is very, very slowly transforming into something that feels like a true home that is actually a reflection of us, but we are severely limited by funding and our knowledge that this is not our dream home at all. So we end up making due as best we can with base materials when our tastes would warrant something significantly more upscale or unique. And of course, our location, size and property couldn't support much higher-end OR off-the-wall than we've got anyway so we make do...
My blog is still out there, but I don't update it very often anymore. I've discovered that when time runs short, the easiest thing to cut out is blogging since it doesn't feed anything or support anyone... ;)

I'm so glad Hyperbole is back ... her depression post is just so spot on.
But my favorite pain scale is xkcd (not a blog, a comic): http://xkcd.com/883/
I first saw that one not long after my faceplant and laughed so hard I nearly split my sutures. :D

When one of us is still sleepy in the morning and the other tries to ask a complicated question, the reply is always PARP!

That's a riot! I might have to steal that one. DH is now hooked on the blog now, too. She is one funny (and twisted) woman. The entry about the fish had me rolling, too. I read that she's essentially earning a living off her blog. Perhaps because I came up age before the Internet age, I find it amazing that "private" bloggers, i.e., those that don't otherwise get paid to blog, can go virale and make a living from it, and sometimes a substantial living at that.

Aw Thank you :o
The woodstove and TV throw off the balance in our living room also - I do what I can, but some spaces will never be perfect. Is it possible to work your room on an angle to take in all three points (TV, window, woodstove)?
Back on topic, I had totally forgotten about this lady - she's a riot and a half! - Brush your donkey!!!
