Yesterday when visiting Minneapolis I test rode the Salsa Mukluk, the only fat tire bike that would potentially fit me.

Oh man is this bike fun! Potholes. Curbs. Sand. Snow. Irrelevant. In the last year I've bought two bikes so I'm not going to get it. But if I ever decide to spend winters up north again this bike is going to be mine. :)

Interestingly, I had no problem riding the xs as a person who is only 4'11". The standover is only 67.2cm. The top tube I thought would be too long but the reach did not feel far at all. The thing weighs a ton but you don't feel it when you ride.

My hubby wants one SO bad! He's next in line for a new bike, so I have a feeling it won't be long before he pulls the trigger. He's really jonesin' for the Ti version, but will probably go for the lighter aluminum one.
