Thanks for today's sale! It motivated me to pick up some warmer tights!
For those who didn't get an email, TE is offering 20% off--today only--on one full-priced item! Woot!

Thom has been eyeing my arm coolers so I got him a set.
This is the first year in my life that I have not gotten sun burnt. Well, actually it's been since we were in Hawaii last April.

I've been thinking of getting a set of those, too. I'm not thrilled with the amount of sun damage I've gotten since I started riding.

I think I might pick up a spare pair of Shebeest Knickers - before they're gone:(
And while I'm ordering - might as well get those goggles I've had my eye on.
Awesome sale!

I've been really happy with the De Soto arm coolers. I did my HIM at the end of July in them and a De Soto sun cooler bike jersey and it worked really well for me. I didn't overheat on the bike or the run.
Bike jersey is a pain in the neck to get on when you're wet. But it's not like those extra minutes in transition cost me a podium. :D And the lack of burn on my lower back and shoulders was worth it!

What timing!! Just yesterday, I was getting annoyed with my running vest that is now huge on me (and flaps around a lot) and thinking that I needed a new one. Now I have one! Thanks, Susan and Jeff! :D

I got my tights yesterday as well! I don't think I have ever waited more than a day for a TE package to arrive. It's basically instant gratification!
Love the tights by the way. I went with the Sugoi Sub-Zeros. They will be warm and toasty!

SubZero is a great textile. I really like MidZero too. The midzero hoodies are yummy.
Glad they arrived so quickly!

My Teko socks arrived yesterday.
How do they do that, in 1.5 days, across the country?

I think Susan and Jeff have singlehandedly renewed at least some of my faith in the USPS.

I will be curious to see how this work for you. I do have the Sugoi Mid-Zeros, but got the PI AmFibs for colder temps.

I mostly bought them for running. I've comfortably ridden in lesser Sugoi tights down to 15 degrees so I imagine the Subzeros will feel pretty cozy by comparison. I certainly liked the price of them compared to the PIs. Plus, I like how they fit. In a small, they're not overly long on me.

Sounds like they will feel great! I like how the Amfibs fit me as far as length is concerned, I think I've a longer inseam than you do. I got the medium (no chamois), not wanting them to be overly tight, and I think they should be fine.
I had no idea about this overly TE sale however, pity, but that was when I was preparing for my trip. I do like to give TE money when I can :D
