New adventure starts today in cooking!

Ok got my Used indian cook books and today we start our adventure!
Planning to spend the morning figuring out what to cook first! Just got home yesterday from working almost a month straight on the road so looking forward to some home cooking. But first things first, I have to start with my spicey ginger snaps that I love to make in the fall! Also a black berry pie for my hubby. Spent 2 months stock piling black berries in my freezer.

Do you have a good Asian/Indian market near you? When I learned Thai cooking, the staff there was very helpful to me, both in helping me to find unfamiliar ingredients, and just with tips.

A supermarket is second best. The ethnic condiments are typically overpriced compared to a specialty market, and sometimes they don't taste as good.:o
