wanted to share this news for any of the NoVA people on the board. There are some meetings coming up regarding cycling in the county. Tonight is a meeting for the Reston/Herndon area.

just wanted to check in and say the meeting was pretty good. They had some very large, detailed maps and we were encouraged to show new routes, dangerous intersections, gaps, etc... The group leading the meetings and trying to pressure the county for improvements seems pretty well organized. Though they are not yet to the funding stages.

The Mt. Vernon "focus group" will be on Nov. 17th in case anyone is interested.
