Get off the road!

I had someone shout "Get off the road!" at me today on the last leg of my bike route (this was after someone honked at me, after which I just took up more of the lane, hehe). It's actually the only marked road in the whole city that says "bike route" so it really made me chuckle.

My response was, "You first!"

His response? "Whatever!" Oh yes, you've convinced me. I'll never ride on the marked bike route ever again!

Way to keep your wits about you and not go to the automatic single finger salute.
I'm using that next time.

I, too, get honked at on the one of 3 marked bike routes in the city. Of course, the one I use most every day *is* on an extremely busy road, but I only have to be on it for .3/mile. Silly drivers...:rolleyes:
