dog trailer recomendations

i am thinking this year for Christmas (or just winter solstice since i don't really celebrate Christmas) i am going to be getting a dog trailer for myself and my pooch. does anyone have recommendations for really great trailers? also for helping a dog learn to love riding in one? she hates the car more than i do poor thing gets car sick.

I'm very happy with my Burley. I know several people who've tried to save money and ended up having to buy a new trailer. So, don't skimp, get a good one.
I've pulled 2 dogs at a time in my Burley most of the time (my 3 dogs are 20, 22, and 11 lbs, respectively, so combos of that). It has a divider, so I can keep them apart or put a dog in there and groceries without the latter getting eaten. It's stable, tracks well and the dogs really like it. In the photos below is just Murphy with about 30 lbs of camera gear as well.
There are other trailers out there that are good for dogs. Another option is a good platform trailer to which you can attach a crate. The disadvantage is your pooch's view. The advantage is they are more secure. As you can see from the photo below, only if your dog is 100% comfortable can you trust him/her. My other dogs get leashed in and the doors are closed, but they can still see through the mesh.

Try feeding your dog in it first. Lock whichever trailer you get so it will not roll, put it in your house and use it as a crate for feeding, or to toss toys into... whatever to get your dog to go in it on their own. Do this for a week or so. Then add a gentle rocking to the trailer while they are chewing on a juicy bone. Then and only then, walk them around your house pushing the trailer by hand.

I am looking for a dog trailer too. I had a kid trailer that I tried to convert but, I really want one that folds down so, I sold it on CL. REI has some I have been checking out. Love that Burley and have heard great things about them

Treats and food has always worked for me when I introduce the pooches to a new thing. Also lavish with praise at how awesome they are for being in the trailer. Our Shih-tzu LOVES trailer rides:)

i do a lot of crate games and stuff so will do that with trailer once i get it. i really hope she will love riding in the trailer

I recommend DoggyRide. I did lots of research and came to the conclusion that it was the best made & also pretty light. It comes in 2 sizes - the bigger one will carry a dog up to 50kg - good luck with that!!

It attaches to the bike very easily, and has proper wheels w/ good tyres that rolls out easily. You can buy a rain cover for it. The trailer is designed for the dog to stick its head out & has a really good 2 point fixing to stop the dog jumping out.

Also the wheels pop off very easily so it can be used as a crate in the car or for camping.

You can add a roof rack which is great for camping or just carrying stuff!. It's extremely stable and seems to be very well designed and made. I think it's made in the Netherlands. Oh yes - and it folds up quite easily too.
