My husband produced this video of the recent Cecy Memorial Ride here in San Diego. It's about 4 minutes long and includes the dozens of men, women, and at least one 11-year-old who rides with the San Diego Bike Club, and several other clubs around town.

Kawika filmed it and wrote and plays the music, too. I think it's a pretty good job for a first attempt at film making.

This is his, too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PavmZTiPn-I&feature=related. It's about 30 seconds. That's him on the bike, filming with a handheld attached to a tripod.

Cool Videos. I never heard about this Cecy ride. Is it a club thing or is it opened to the public?

I believe it's open to the public. There are a lot of local San Diego clubs represented. DH is a member of the SDBC, so you'll see a lot of those red, black, and gold jerseys, but there are plenty of others there, too.

In one of the rear-view frame pictures, there is an 11-year-old in an SDBC jersey. DH says he comes on the Saturday club rides, too, and he keeps up with the adults for 60 miles. He apparently likes to ride behind my husband, who is a little bigger than the average cyclist, and punches a big hole in the air for anyone behind him.

I'm glad you liked the video. I like how he managed the voice over for the ride organizer. And the music is really beautiful.

Okay, yeah, I'm biased, but it's good.
