Cute story re: volunteering with girls

Last week the girls (14 of them ages 9-11) were decorating their new journals. They had stickers, markers and several National Geographic magazines to cut out animal pictures. One little girl secretively called me over & pointed to a painting that showed women's breasts.

"BOOBIES!!!" she hissed, "This should be rated 'R'!!"

I assured her that it was OK, soon she'll have boobies too & although they are private, they aren't secret.

She finally calmed down - but did not cut out the picture. :)

She was so cute!

Cut story.

Iremeber saying something similar to my mother when I was in the second or third grade and saw a nude somewhere. My most recent boobie incident,and I kid you not, was when the saleswoman and the surgical recovery store informed me that the prosthetic device I recently got is called a beanie baby boobie.

Aren't peoples perceptions odd?
