I ride out on Hines Dr. atleast 6 days a week and see groups riding together on Sat. . The guys, even though I am one, seem to be all about whos bettter, or atleast thats their attitude when you wave at them. I'm happly married and I am training for my first century. My average ride speed is 17 - 25 mph. Just looking for people that have the same love of riding that I do. I ride from my house in Garden City and get on Hines Dr. off of Merriman. All depends on my mood and distance riding that day as to rather I start out east or west. Care to ride together on some days, or know someone, let me know. :)

I would say the state is Michigan. Town and roads/streets referred to are on the west side of the metro Detroit area.

I ride on Hines Dr. all the time. I come from AA trail between beech and inkster. I've never done group rides before because I'm super slow 14-20 mph (on my new bike). If you want to ride together sometime and don't mind a slow poke, I'd love to join you.

I'm not in your area but perhaps you can try meetup.com. I think you will find tons of people that share your interest in your area. Good Luck!

I am actually in your area, but usually ride with my husband.
There are plenty of local bicycle groups that have varying difficulties of rides - you should be able to find one in your skill level. For some of them, you don't have to be a member to join in on their group rides.
Here's the schedule for the Ann Arbor Touring Society - they look like they go to some really nice places.

Looks like you'd be in the A group.
