Am in Toronto now, visiting family and friends. I went nuts shooting photos on digital camera. I must have shot off....400+ shots on a day. We went to rehabilitated quarry site in a ravine park in the middle of city that has been transformed into a neat-o environmental education site with hiking trails, art, etc.

Digital cameras have made it too easy for us to suck up computer storage memory. :o

(I suddenly realized I have very few digital shots of Toronto though I lived and cycled there for 25 yrs. --with cycling last 10 yrs. there.)

Yea, digital photography is a little bit instant gratification.

I'd rather know I got the shot I intended then get home, several days later when the film is developed, only to realize that spectacular Autum leaves changing shot was actually on black and white film that was loaded in the camera by mistake.

Yeaaaaaaa... DOH.

It helps to go through them and throw away ones that are out of focus, uninteresting, poorly exposed, etc., but remember that computer memory is very inexpensive these days. Get yourself as large an external drive you can afford and offload your pictures there.
