This is going to probably seem quite dumb but I need help choosing shorts and socks as my DH is purchasing clipless pedals in order to get me used to them prior to getting my (oh em gee!) road bike. I've never used clipless before and I'm uh, afraid of it.
Anyway, he said I should have cycling shorts/socks etc when it comes time to try out road bikes, I already have some jerseys so that's not a problem.
Price *is* a concern, but probably a stupid idea to get the lowest quality kit, am I correct?
What do you guys recommend for road cycling for chicks? (Shoes have already been selected, I think!)
