Thought I would share a little snapshot of my world... This is a bull calf that I helped deliver last night during some major t-storms that passed through. He is pretty amazing and an extremely strong calf! And his momma couldn't have done a better job too.

Would love to see your snapshots if you are willing to share!

I apparently have issues with photos - but a snapshot of my world is a pile of laundry right now. Some clean, some dirty. I'm sure you all can conjure that up!

No way am I taking a snapshot of the area infront of my dresser. Lets just say the drawers aren't doing their job. ;)

What a coincidence, here's our new girls all set to calf around December. We have been spending a lot of time making sure they acclimate to the new field.

I often ride around Coyote Hills park near my home. One day, I went around a curve and came face to face (beak to beak?) with a big beautiful hawk perched on a bush. He took off and cruised overhead for a while; this was the best picture I could get on my cell phone camera. It was a lovely sight.

Good timing - I actually just snapped this shot this morning to send to my mom. These are the two newest members of our farm family; meet Butterscotch and Luna:

I love all these photos!
Biciclista, no I am not a vet. But I do get to provide minor vet care to a variety of animals as/when needed.
Kermit, love the herd! I was thinking December will be cold but down in GA is shouldn't be too bad. Most of our girls are bred for spring to late fall babies.
GLC, love those ducks!

Talk about a wonderful picture, salsabike!
Also really impressed by the calf/cows and the fact that you keep cattle. I really like ducks - great names.
Would post a picture from my ride along the Thames today but didn't take one and I'm technically challenged anyway.

That calf is so cute!
I'm not much of a photographer; I'll have to find something from DH's shots although it seems like most of his recent shots are of our cats.

I have an irrational love for the California missions despite sugar cube models and abuse of indiginous peoples. My favorate is the forlorn little San Miguel out in the middle of nowhere but right by Highway 101.
My world also not worthy of a photo. It is boxes everywhere, in various states of pack and unpack, because we moved. Gad, what a mess. I ask myself, "What were we thinking?" and then I remember, oh, right, detached house: play piano whenever you feel like it and BIG Garage: all the bikes in there and room for a car too!
For a while it seemed like that Gift of the Magi story, because my hands hurt so much from carrying things and banging around the house that I couldn't even think of playing piano, and then the garage is so full of stuff that belongs elsewhere that there was no hope of bikes living thereat all, but nevermind. As surely as time heals all things, we'll get moved in.
Really, it will be a great place.
Eventually.
Come visit, but not yet.
The last place I lived, when I moved in I planned for it to be short term, and I was there for 16 years.
Anyone need a condo in Salt Lake City? Careful though--it might work out way better than you imagine!

I think the Corgi's got a plan....
That Corgi is thinking: "Oh s***, camera! Quick, freeze. Make like a potted plant. This is not the Corgi you're looking for."

Ah, does this thread have to include animals?
Besides the wild turkeys and the deer, none of those in my world... seriously, I am I the only one who doesn't have a pet?

Certainly not! Everyone has their own "world" which makes it interesting. :)
