I was too lazy to do a search but, has anyone used these?
I plan to make a few upgrades to my mountain bike and have been debating on weather to get a set of these Ergon grips. They make so many different styles of them though...which ones do you have and do you like them?
I have been looking at the ones with the bar ends attached, for more hand positions.
Thanks in advance :)

I have them on my mtb and my commuter.
Love 'em.
My mtb has Grip Shift, so I got grips compatible with them. I think I go the men's as my gorilla paws don't need the smaller sized grips.
Unfortunately, I could no longer attach my mtb's bar ends to the handlebars once I put them on, so I don't have those any more and I miss them. I have the Ergon grips with integrated bar ends on my commuter. Pricey, but they do offer a lot more hand positions and I felt that was worth the price of admission. If I rode the mtb more often, I might feel justified in getting the integrated set for that bike, but right now, I just can't.

Love them - won't leave home without them on any bike!
I have Titec bar-ends on the bike with SRAM grip shifters - they work fine. I only like one of the Ergon integrated grips/bar-ends and while they work well with triggers they don't play with grips.

Thanks everyone...my mind is set on getting a pair now. :D
I think I will go with the integrated ones that have the bar ends.

They have several styles so make certain you try them. Several have quite short/stubby bar-ends which might be too small. I have small hands and they are too small...

Thanks for the tip Catrin...I was a bit overwhelmed by how many styles they offer. that's why I came to TE for help:)

I really like the ones with the longest rubberized grips. They are not too large for my hands and I do feel more secure with them on my mountain bike. I feel they help protect my hands. They won't work with grips though...we have discussed them in a recent thread - I can't get to the site just now to get the name of this set.

My experience is they aren't comfortable. But amongst my friends that ride it is pretty much love/hate. If you love them, you REALLY love them. I just wasn't a fan myself.

I'm not a fan either. When i am off road on my MTBs, I want to have my hand wrapped around the bars for max control, not resting on them. it makes no sense to me.
I love the Lizard Skins Moab grips and ODI Ruffians, but my new fave is the Crank Brothers foam lock on grips- they really tame the vibrations and are very lightweight. I only use grips that lock onto the bar on both ends to eliminate twisting or worse yet- the grip coming of in your hand as you ride (which can lead to a very bad day).

Hmmmm.... Good point
I may have to try the crank brothers grips. I do have a set of lock on grips but, feel they are too thin for me. Then again maybe I just need a different pair of gloves.

Perhaps this is different for each person. My fingers ARE wrapped around the bars - it is the heel of my hands that rest on the grip - and this position keeps my hands from hurting. Round bar grips just put me in too much pain...

I love them for the same reason. It keeps me from putting my wrists/hands in a bad position.

I like feeling tzvia said, a complete wrap around the bar. I am actually running ODI Cross Trainers which I thought were very thin but I really like them. Lots of grip, not a lot of extra weight and thickness I don't need. Everything in biking is personal. I am an ODI fan but may check out those Crank Bros grips. I have had non lock-on style twist AND come off. Nothing but lock-on for me.

I was just picturing what it would be like to have a grip come off on the trail
I do wish that I didn't have the problems with my hands, it would give me more options...
