I saw the penalty kicks. I knew enough to know that if that was the case the game had tied. My DH heard me cheering away for the US when they made their goals, then he heard me again when Solo blocked the goal. He could not understand it. I was totally pumped.

I just wish Women's World Cup would get more press like the men's. I guess I should be glad it is on ESPN. Go USA!!!!

Didn't see it but it sounded exciting! Chris and I went down to the Rose Bowl to see the 1999 championship game. Boyoboy, was that fabulous.

DH is so cute. He couldn't stop talking about the game yesterday at work. He's a contractor and works with, shall we say, a demographic that is far more attuned to NASCAR.

He said he got some strange looks. But I think it is awesome that DH got so excited about a women's sporting event!

I LOVE that ESPN shows life coverage for FREE online. I wish Versus would do that. I can't bring myself to pay the $30 to watch the tour.
