This appears to be a great machine in every way for the serious rider/racer, but sized for someone 4'11-5'2" is my guess.

No connection with it, just a heads up.

The top tube is too short for my long torso. I'd be all over it otherwise.

Yeah.
But the 36 cm bar is too small for me. Oh well.

Huh? Maybe you have to be a member to see the pics, but I don't think so?

Crankin', putting on wider bars takes about five minutes.

Yes, you do. I click on the .jpg links, and it brings up a "login or register" page.

Moot point for several reasons, the uppermost being that the bike is now sold.

Whew! :p :D

Yea, I know.
But, I am saving for my own, custom to me, steel or ti road bike with couplers. I'm not going to Europe again without my own bike that I can ride.

Have you considered a Bike Friday? :D

Love the paint job on the bike.

That bike was tiny enough that I bet the frame would have fit in a suitcase

Ah, you're right. Well, it's gorgeous. Reminds me of a Terry Isis I used to have with shade-shifter purple/teal paint job. But the Serotta is even more stunning in ti. Someone is very lucky!
