I don't know the last time I rode a century. Maybe it was December of 2008, and it's been even longer for Thom.

We'll be riding this (http://www.mtadventure.com/pages/century.html#ebbetts) in August. I guess I need to throw in some climbing while I'm training for my HIM.

Looks like fun. Bad time of year as school will just be starting and I don't want to have to travel. Were you one of the first 100 entrants so as to get guaranteed entry into next year's death ride?? :D

Don't know - probably not as the confirming email didn't say so. Bummer, would have been nice to have your company. I have a half day that Friday so the timing is relatively good for us.

Should be a beautiful ride! I'm doing the fall Sierra century and will be training on ebbetts pass :D.

Is that the High Sierra Century out by Mono Lake? It says they have repaved 120. I hope so for your sake - that was miserable on the Eastern Sierra Double, absolutely gorgeous ride though.

Yep, that's the one.... I've heard about the rough spots, I hope they are better too! We'll stay an extra day to mtn bike at mammoth too, I am SO looking forward to it! :D

Are you doing the full century? I was pondering doing one of the shorter routes as a training ride (probably the 48) since it's close to us ...

We're planning on the full century. We'll see how much hill training we get in between now and August.

You are such a studette! Who are you riding with?

Thom of course. :D It was his idea actually. And he signed us up and already booked a condo for the weekend.

Seriously, I haven't ridden that far or with that much climbing in a long time. But it's good to have something like that out there, makes you work harder. :D

Oh, duh.... For some reason I had it in my head that he was running more than riding! It'll be a great adventure for you two! :D

You're both going to do Terrible Two? Wooho! He's so freakin' strong make him pull you!

Are you doing Tam too? it is this year's third stage race I think.

Yeah, my thinking was that bit on 128 and Hwy 1. Those are pretty long and flat/rolly and that's where I will be able to make up time.

Yeah I will do Tam - but I am waiting to sign up til I complete TT. I didn't signup for TT until I completed DMD.

If I don't complete TT (I'm riding til someone tells me to get off my bike, but may not make the cutoffs), then I figure it will be a nice 200k+ and I will surely learn something from the experience.
