Two things up front:
I'd prefer to give this to someone somewhat local-ish to Seattle. It's really not worth the hassle of shipping for me, or the cost of shipping for anyone else. Really.
There's nothing special about this bike. That's why I'm giving it away instead of dealing with trying to sell it for the $25-ish it's probably worth.
That said...
This bike was left behind by a previous tenant. According to my landlord, she neither wants it, nor wants to deal with it. If I didn't have so many bikes (and bike projects) of my own, I might keep it around as a beater for myself, but I have more bikes than I need as it is.
It's a Free Spirit stepthrough 10-speed from Sears. Nothing special, and could use a cleaning, but everything works. The tires look ok, but the front tube probably needs to be replaced as it seems to have a slow leak. The two nicest things I can say about this bike are that paint is in good shape and it has a kickstand. Hah!
Anyway, if you live around Seattle and want it, or know someone in need, let me know. If I don't have any takers in the next day or so, I'm leaving it unlocked at a bike rack somewhere.
