Yep, I just looked out the window and it is snowing - even though the temperature is supposed to be 45 degrees right now! :(

What a wonderful windy spring day!:D

Snowing in AZ?

Flagstaff is in the mountains. When I was there visiting my son several years ago, it snowed 2 feet. There's a ski area there.

Yep, we are at 7,000 feet - get lots of snow! We also get lots of car accidents since a lot of people don't believe it snows in Arizona so up in elevation they drive not expecting ice and snow and all of a sudden they are sliding on the ice and off the highway they go!

The only time I was in Arizona was on a trip to lake Mead and Hoover Dam which I believe straddles Nevada and Arizona. I wasn't up enough in the mountains to encounter snow. Mentally I just don't associate cold weather and snow with "out west"

I'm sorry for you that it is still snowing and very glad it's not snowing here. Gee, snow in May, yikes

I am in Reno and we had a dusting of snow here this morning. Back home it reached 80 today...

I'm in Truckee, in the mountains above Reno. I woke up to an inch of snow. Over the day it spinkled snow all day. Feh! I am so over snow for this year!

Yup. While living in Phoenix (elevation ~1100 ft), I would drive up to Flag to the X-country ski area on the north side of the San Francisco Peaks. Between Flag and the ski area, I hit black ice, did a 270 spin. Fortunately I didn't hit anyone, and didn't land too far in the ditch. All traffic stopped while was spinning and left me space to drive out. Then I turned my 4x4 south bound and headed home. Was too chicken to drive any further in the shaded roadway towards the ski area.
