Wanted to share with everyone a online training tracker I discovered this morning. Maybe everyone already knows about this one, but I've used a few and this one seems to cover quite a few activities, has a built in mapping program (so you can map your bike or run and it will tell you elevation, etc.), and allows for food/calories tracking as well.

Trainingpeaks.com

I got a link to this through the MS bike ride I'm signed up for the end of the summer, so my program came with a MS bike ride training program. From the looks of this, you can purchase customized training plans, but I think it would be very useful even if you weren't following a "plan" (and the plans look a little spendy)

Looks a little complicated to figure out at first, but I think this is going to be helpful. The basic program is free :)

A few of us use Plus3Network.com also. Not only does it track and store maps of your rides -with elevation, calories burned, etc. But, the best part is that your miles earn sponsorship dollars for some great charities. You pick your sponsor (based on loyalty to their name) or pick based on the charity the sponsor contributes to - either way, someone gets money for your efforts!

Plus at Plus3Network.com they have all those interesting challenges, ie finish 99 activities and win a pair of activity specific socks, 246 challenges which track how many hours you work out in a month and then does a drawing for the winner. That's how I got a brand new pair of Anhu running shows, for free.

So far I have earned a pair of biking socks, an under seat gear bag and the Anhu shoes through various challenges.

Active.com also has training programs that you can download. I'm not sure if they are for free or if you have to have an active advantage membership ( 60.00 a year) for them to be free. The advantage of active.com is that you can get a discount for registering for various activities, plus if you lose the receipt, you can call them and they will email a copy.
