It was just luck that Richard came into our family. I was really against having another teenager in my house just when my oldest had left home! Another junior level cyclist knew him, but was leaving for college, so he asked my son if we would be interested. It couldn't have been a better match in terms of personality and values.
We were just discussing how "unique" all three of them are. Although Richard is probably the most sane :).
