Amici Veloci on Diablo

This weekend was the Rivendell camp out on Diablo. Saturday was too cold for our Amici Veloci jerseys. Jo wore a fetching blue wool and I wore my favorite red cashmere instead.

But Sunday was a much nicer day, so we both wore our jerseys on our ride to the summit. Jo is on the left.

The wind was totally howling and I blew my lungs out climbing out of the campground in the wrong gear. Maybe someday I'll learn to be less stubborn.

In my case, that AV jersey got me to The Junction and back on the Mines Rd. ride. Great jersey. ;)

Yep! Mystical powers, I say. Just lifted me right up those hills, it did. Really, honest!! (she said, while crossing her fingers behind her back....) :D

Funny, wonder if it was that same mystical-powered jersey that saved me from going off the cliff while trying to chase Glen downhill.......:eek:
