hello!
i am selling my beloved road bike to fund the purchase of a MTB.
it's a 2007 Cannondale Optimo Feminine size 44cm on 650c wheels.
http://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/BikeSpecs.aspx?Year=2007&Brand=Cannondale&Model=Optimo%20Feminie%202&Type=bike
Bike has had some upgrades-
2008 Dura Ace Front Derailer
2008 Ultegra ICE 50/34 crankset (came with a triple)
2008 ICE Ultegra Shifters
Cinelli 90mm Stem
Ritchey Comp Logic II bars 38cm
Vitorria Corsa Evo tires (new)
brand new Fizik Vitesse saddle.
Will be sold with the Alex 220 wheelset. ( not pictured)
I am willing to sell the Power Tap wheel (pictured) for an additional cost. This bike was my baby and has been treated accordingly. One minor crash in a crit that left no damage (bike was fully checked post crash)
I have a wide array of stems/handlebars/saddles. I am taking the bike to the LBS for a full tune up before it will be sold. Willing to have it set up differently if you are interested. PM me for details. Also possible to have the (stock) triple put back on.
$800+ shipping. I'd like to avoid shipping. can meet any where in So Cal and will be in Nor Call sometime over the summer.
thanks!

Absolutely gorgeous and my size...
If I weren't moving out of the country, I'd be begging you to ship it to NC! Aren't you glad I saved you from having to ship cross-country?
Hope you can find a local buyer soon. If no nibbles here, try craigslist. I bet some small woman will snap that beaut up quickly!

Sorry to hear that Emily! But fun for you on a move out of the country!
I am willing to ship just prefer not to.
(also, I kinda want to meet the new owner, this bike was my BABY. and I'm sad to see her go...)
CL is next, thanks :)

Beautiful bike! (It's DBF's bike's little sister, by the looks of it.) Too small for me, but good luck!

Looks awesome. If I may ask, how tall are you and how does the bike fit you? I'm in Los Angeles county. Where are you? Would you consider letting it go for less? Thanks.

How long are the cranks?

hi!
The cranks are 165mm
Sadly I do not have the front mavic wheel. I lost it (that was a very, very sad day) I have the rear Mavic wheel which I can sell that to you. OR I can sell it with the Alex 220 Wheelset. I actually have a variety of 650c wheels including 404 clinchers, power tap wheel etc. I also have quite a stock in tubes and tires that are brand new. Those, of course, would be extra, my TT bike is on 650c wheels hence why I have a stockpile of 650c gear.
for someone who asked about how the bike fit, here is a (small, blurry) pic of me racing a criterium (2nd pic) on this bike and another one of me in a road race.(1st pic) you can see I have a pretty aggressive position. I am a shade under 5' and I am running a 90mm stem with I (think) two spacers. I am long legged and short torsoed. Like I said I have a variety of stems and bars and am willing to have the bike set up how you like.

The bike I'm looking for is for my 21 year old daughter. She is 4' 11.5". Would have been perfect -- I just don't have $800.

Is this bike still for sale? How does it compare to your QR and Felt?

hi, it is for sale.
the QR is a carbon fiber time trial bike and the Felt is a fixed gear track bike so no comparison really. The QR fits me great, the felt is too big and I no longer race the track, so its also for sale. thanks.

I'm looking to return to triathlons & centuries (after a 13+ year hiatus to start my family), and my 20+-year-old Specialized Sirrus isn't up to the task. Like you, I'm just shy of 5'. Any suggestions of mods could I make to this bike to make it work for longer rides? I'm a bit leary of 650cc wheels, but could certainly make it work.
Also looking at Specialized, Trek & Jamis (new), but not sure I want to spend that kind of $$$ before I see if I can learn to like cycling again. (Bad crash several years ago....)

Ive done plenty of 4 hour rides on this bike. Comfort is a matter of fit and as stated I have various bars and stems available.
