70degF here today, 22degC, endless blue skies and the perfect opportunity to ride bike, trailer and Small Girl into town to meet friends at the park for a picnic. It was so lovely to be out on the bike in the sun, not caught up in the traffic queues. By the time we got home B had removed her sandals and had lifted the front cover of the trailer to wiggle her toes in the breeze :) Naughty girl, but I couldn't help but be a little jealous!

I know that some of you are still getting snow, I hope it clears for you soon.

I am happy for you to have such a nice day....I am in the "snow/cold club" here in MI. But, it will change soon---I hope:confused:

Sounds lovely!!

We're in the "daily 30 degree temperature swing/tornadoes/ice cold rain" time of year.

sounds lovely indeed!!! :)
I wear my Keen sandals on every ride- so I *kinda* get to wiggle my toes in the breeze. ;)

Sounds like a perfectly lovely day and your small girl is one happy and lucky kid!

It's still brrrrrrrr here in Michigan but I am very glad to hear that you are having good cycling weather. We'll catch up sooner or later!

sounds a lot nicer than spring here in Houston where today the temp was 90 degrees with 85% humidity and winds from the south at 20 mph gusting to 30- It's going to be like this all week. I checked out the equipment at the new gym down the road from us instead. Still very warm due to inadequate air circulation, but at least no wind.

I remember when we first moved to the Netherlands from Georgia how wonderfully cool and refreshing the summer weather seemed to us and we were always out and about in the mid day sun much to the bemusement of our neighbors. Of course a year later when we had acclimated it was entirely a different story!

Glad you had a good day with your little one.

Isn't it bizarre how the same season is quite so different across the world? It's very hard to imagine the extremes of temperature that others are experiencing, but I hope you all can get back on your bikes soon.

It was another beautiful day today and I got out on my own this afternoon for a quick errand ride. I think the weather is now set to stay good for a few more days too, which is wonderful.

Tri Girl, I like your new blog very much and am glad that you are still doing it - I missed your blog when the link went from your siggie.

We're easily pleased here, it's amazing weather for April which is normally wet and cold. I can't imagine riding in your July, Muirenn.

Sadly we now have a smog alert over England and Wales for the weekend - not enough air movement, high temps and increased pollution from the holiday travel. The weather looks likely to break on Sunday so we're going out for the first family bike picnic tomorrow.
