Well, I got my 50th birthday present a tad early. This is just my little cherub! She folds too. It's an ICE B1. If you are not familiar with Trice ICE, they make some of the best recumbent trikes/bikes in the industry. Art on wheels, their paint jobs are stunning. They have discontinued this model to focus more on their trikes (Trike sales are out of control with the baby boomers!)

So here she is:

Oh, that looks nice. I've been lusting after a folding 'bent. I don't know how I'd sneak something that classy past DH, though.

Enjoy your new ride.

Happy B'day. I love the new bike. Did you used to ride a regular road bike? It looks fast and comfortable.

Well, I am also being treated to an incredible trip on the b-day...Banff, Canada!!! I want to take the bike with me, but am limited with my mechanical ability. The best way to pack bikes is in an S&S hardshell case. Very pricey.

It would be awesome to take the bike, but we will be hiking, mtn biking, horseback riding and kayaking. Enough to keep us busy.

Yes, I did used to ride a DF road bike, after back surgery 7 years ago, I went to recumbents and never turned back. My fast ride is my Titanium Bachetta Aero. I do still mtn bike on my Trek Fuel 98 and do just fine, get a bit sore in the neck area but no back pain. After riding recumbents, no saddle sore and can go forever comfortably, I never turned back.

Check out: www.bentrideronline.com A ton of great people and great information!

ICE makes gorgeous trikes too.

That is beautiful. One of our LBS rents 'bents. Makes me want to give it a try. Wishing you many happy miles together.
