Do you mean shoe clips? Are they stuck to shoes, or stuck to the pedals without anything to grab them? What kind of pedals/clips? I'm assuming SPDs? I have some tricks for eggbeaters, but know nothing about SPDs.
If stuck to the shoes, are the screws rusted?

Did you try putting the pedals in a vise, and as a last resort drilling the heads off the screws, as I suggested in the other thread?

won't that ruin the shoes for clips? or is that not a problem? I googled "loosening screws" and came up with this how-to page. WD40.

The OP was talking about trying to take toe clips off pedals.
But even so, drilling the heads off fasteners won't harm anything except the fastener. You do have to be careful not to drill past the head and into whatever it's fastening, but IME drilling metal goes pretty slowly, so it's not difficult. Just wear your safety glasses and put something underneath to catch the metal filings so they don't wind up in your feet later on...
An impact driver would be a good way to go, too. But the first step there is still putting the pedal in a vise. If they're still in the crankarms, it's no wonder she's having trouble.

You could consider taking it to the LBS, they use giant tools with lots of leverage (which I personally didn't have when I was having trouble switching out my pedals).
