An annual bike race around an indoor ice rink...actually near a place where I used to live in Toronto long ago.

I've actually never seen studs on thin road bike tires (well, close to road racing tires, I guess). I've only seen them on wider tires.

I would sacrifice seeing a hockey game, to see this race. :)

Thanks for the link! One shot in particular was quite interesting where you can see two very difference size tires on the two bikes in the shot, this one (http://www.flickr.com/photos/martinreis/5441094316/in/photostream/). I agree, this would be fun to watch!
