Hello! I wanted to introduce my new bike!! I have not named her yet, but she is a Kestrel 4000. I am getting my fit on her on Friday, but I am super excited. I am lucky enough to have her because my awesome tri team has a great relationship with Kestrel. I am super excited! I will be riding her 6 weeks from Saturday at Ironman St. George, which is going to be a challenge :p

My other tri bike is for sale down in the classifieds....sad to let Pepper go (she was Ironman's assistant in the comic, and she was my assistant in IM Louisville)....but the new bike is sooooo pretty.

I am considering bird names for her since Kestrels are birds. Open to suggestions! I will let you know when I name her!

I was thinking "Il Falco (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paolo_Savoldelli)" - the falcon - for the name. More in keeping with the Kestrel family.

Falcons: Merlin (a beautiful small falcon), Peregrine (means wanderer) or Gyr (short for Gyrfalcon, although they are very pale colored). Peregrine's are the darkest of the three species.

Thanks! I love her! My fitting is Friday, and I can't wait! I will post a few pics once I am fit on her too! Then, on our first few rides, one of those names is going to stick!!!
