What a relief...nice ride...spring like day, and no RAIN!!! Just a little nippy at the beginning, about 36 degrees. It took me about five miles to warm up.
Beautfiul farmland and even more beautiful blue skies. A bit of a headwind on the way back to Arlington, but nothing too terrible. I did the 34 mile loop out to Stanwood and back. Hardly any traffic on the road until later in the morning. I even got to see at least ten bald eagles lounging in the trees along the Skagit River.
And to cap it all off a massage at the end. Could there be a better day?

Glad you had a good ride and good weather too. I had actually looked into that ride. It looks like a great route. Way to welcome in our good weather day.

Today was amazing! I'm in Seattle, so I biked from West Seattle to a friend's house in Ballard and then we went down to Seward Park and back (42 miles total). The mountains were out and there were pink flowers on the trees. It was a perfect day. I'm still on a post-ride high.

It was a beautiful day in the Seattle area. I started from Marymoore Park went toward Issaquah on E. Lake Sammamish Parkway turned around at the McDonalds went back to Redmond, stopped at Peet's Coffee then continued through Marymoore onto Lake Sammamish River Trail, picked up the Burke Gilman Trail stopped at the QFC in Uvillage then turned around and headed back. I got 66 great miles in on a beautiful spring day.
Thinking about doing another ride this afternoon closer to home. Maybe the Orting Trail to Buckley and back. Happy first day of spring everyone! :)

Dh and I did the 47 mile loop of the mc clinchy ride. After a solid month of riding in pouring rain, it was quite a delight to ride in the sunshine! It is such a beautiful course, out to Granite falls and back.

I agree. What a great weekend. I did a short ride (21 miles) Sunday down the Cedar River, up Land Fill Hill (Cedar Grove) and home. Too short, hope for more time on the next good day. Bought a Wind Stopper jacket - what a treat, comfort makes a difference.
