A while back I got this hat from Bicyclista - it's a beauty and quite functional, but I just inherited a Smartwool beanie that matches my jackets better. Ah vanity!

I wore it twice and then handwashed/air dried it. Color is a merlot - more a dark red than purple.

It's nice & thin - easy to stuff in a pocket for a cool day or after you warm up. it's also thin enough to wear under a helmet if you have the adjustable type. Still merino wool warm though!

$15 shipped. Open to trades of jerseys/MTB shorts in Large, or other wool items, or a new pair of Seirus Outlast liner gloves in L/XL, all plus or minus a few bucks as appropriate.

i clicked on this and thought, hm, that is familiar. It's the end of the season though you might try next fall!

Oooo- I don't know how I missed this, but I want to take it off your hands if it's still available. :)
Sent you a PM

The hat is awesome! Thank you so much, Out-spokin! I can't wait to wear it tomorrow (although I wish it were too warm to wear it, but alas it is not...)

yeah, what's up with that? March is NOT going out like a lamb

no it is NOT! I had a fight with Old Man Winter on Saturday and we're not speaking to each other until November. I hear that he's sticking around most of next week, too.
I'm so ready to be warm (but in July when it's over 100 I'll be complaining about the heat).

At least my head will be warm in the meantime! ;)

Well, you know, the last lamb I saw was white and fluffy.

Here in NC, it came in like a lamb and went out like a lion!

One of its variations, you know...
