I am interested in cycling videos for indoor training.....are there any that would be simular to actually riding on a nice trail or bike path...sort of a virtual bike video? And geared towards me, a middle aged woman...not some twenty year-old gear head flying down a mountain.....

I looked at many training videos and wanted the same thing you are describing. I am also middle aged and wanted a video of someplace nice with music. I did find it: Bike-O-Vision http://www.bike-o-vision.com/
You can preview the videos at the site. I bought Southern Utah first from Amazon. Then CA Coast, Wine Country, Yellowstone and Kings Canyon in widescreen direct from the company. They have discount packages and I emailed them and they let me pick the ones I wanted rather than the pre-grouped sets. They are 90-120 minutes long, and I have no trouble watching them and riding for 45-60 minutes. It solved the boring trainer riding problem. I have ridden down the CA Coast thru Big Sur (on a real bike), and I recognized the ride (on the trainer).

There's a company called "EpicRides" that films rides through different parts of the country. I own the Mt. Lemmon(Tuscon Arizona) and Acadia(Bar Harbor Maine) DVD's, absolutely beautiful scenery but I will also add a bit boring. To alleviate the "slow" parts of the DVD you could always use your own music... without it, you'd probably be bored though.
The one thing that troubled me quite a bit was during the Acadia DVD, one of the riders would consistently ride over the yellow line and near the top of the climb, they were blocking cars from passing. Perhaps I'm too old school, but I wouldn't want my company portrayed in that manner and there is generally ALOT of traffic in Bar Harbor.. so definietly not setting a good example. Then again, it's only my opinion...
