Different ways elsewhere: getting women to cycle

An international conference that has some sessions on above topic. There are other different topics.

Is this ghettoizing women or are there different things that need to be addressed? Maybe not clothing, helmet hair thing. But other stuff. Maybe in other countries/cultures there needs to be different tactics to get lots more women cycling in a particular country.

There's a scheme just got announced here, though I cannot remember the name of it. I meant to blog about it. the premise behind it is that women do not exercise as much as men, if I remember right.
