Is the elastic any chuffier than a SpiBelt?
This is the neoprene one, right? Is it really big enough for a smartphone as the website says it is?
Is it appropriate for smaller waists? (I don't even have a small waist, but the SpiBelt is just too big now the elastic is a tiny bit stretched.)

Hi OakLeaf!
Yes, this is the neoprene one. Not sure what you mean by 'chuffier'...
Here are some pics to show that my iPhone fits in there easily (with extra space left). I wore this belt once on one of those corporate team building days where we did an Amazing Race type thing. It fit my iPhone, a debit card, my driver's license, a pen, my chapstick, and a granola bar.
The elastic is very sturdy (but soft) and can be adjusted to fit any size waist. I have a 29 inch waist (which i'm thinking is average?) and it fits nice and snug. I can also adjust it so that I can wear it a bit lower (where I prefer to wear it).

I clipped and saved this from RBR a couple months ago:
---Lon Haldeman, who runs PacTour, let us know that his organization is still collecting items for racers in Peru. You'll recall previous mentions of this worthy cause, and Lon's outreach to RBR readers to provide any unused bike clothing, parts, or entire bikes. "I send some boxes of clothing and parts there each month," Lon says. "We are planning another tour next October to take bigger items like bicycles and wheels.
Another project PacTour is undertaking this year is a cycling camp for kids with burn injuries. Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth is scheduled for August 13-20, 2011. The Wisconsin Fire Departments have been sponsoring this summer camp for burn-injured kids for the past 10 years. They wanted to offer cycling during the week. PAC Tour will be helping with daily bike tours with the kids (20-30 miles). Most of the kids are physically fit and the camp is a good place for them to be with kids with similar interests.
Some of the bikes that have been donated for Peru can be used during the August camp, and then taken to Peru in October. Lon is looking for any road bikes RBR readers would like to donate. "We are needing to outfit about 15 kids ages, 13-17 years old, and 5 foot to 6 foot tall. We would like to collect enough good, functional bikes to use at the camp and expand their cycling program."
Send any used parts, clothing, tools or bikes to: PAC Tour, P.O. Box 303, 202 Prairie Pedal Lane, Sharon, WI 53585. (Also include a return address so Lon can send a confirmation and thank you.) If you have any questions about bikes or equipment you would like to donate, you can contact Lon directly at haldeman@pactour.com.
