Oh dear...I now want to try all sorts of other cycling disciplines..The only downfall is...cost of memberships!

I am still in love with dirt & do it as often as I can..not giving that up! I find the mtb community friendlier, a bit cheaper and more fun!!!

It's just other cycling events. I see all the really good mtn bikers here do some sort of road discipline & thought I might do a bit of the same. I started riding w a group (www.southperthrouleurs.com.au) as I needed a swift kick in the behind for some new motivation.

I tried a crit (e-grade) the other weekend to see what it was like. I liked it becuase of the left hand turn focus etc. E grade was a bit short (25min +2 laps) but liked it as it was a smaller group w only 10 of us. All of them were between 35-45yrs older than me but NOT slow!

Then i went back to track cycling last night & want to do it more often....I've gained the core strength I wanted to when i promised myself i'd go back when I had it.

I'm slowly going crazy trying to decide which one could help more.
